Renewable Power Generation (RPG 2022) Meeting net zero carbon conference

The 11th International Conference on Renewable Power Generation

The conference has now taken place - watch out for information on RPG 2024!

RPG 2022 brought together international academics, researchers, engineers, consultants, and policy makers working in renewable energy, to review the latest technical developments, share knowledge and forge new partnerships.

About the event

Through in-depth discussion and engaging conversation, RPG 2022 also considered the role of renewables in a net zero future, and the innovations needed to overcome challenges, including resource scarcity, continued scale-up, efficiency improvements, cost reductions, embedded carbon reductions and power system planning and operation with close to 100% renewables.

Speakers from National Grid, EirGrid, BEIS, REA, CCC, ORE Catapult, ES Catapult, Statnett, PRASEG discussed the role of renewables in a net zero future: scale up, cost, and they also shed light on how do we accelerate growth of renewables to achieve net zero and energy security.
